one last ride:
the night before we headed back to brooklyn we took francis for one last ride. getting frozen yogurt with my parents has become a tradition and we could not think of a better way to end the summer of francis. there is so much i will miss about this summer. working in the garage with my dad and curtis, hunting for owls with my mom, just being with sarah, cool colorado evenings, beth and the brink’s, ryan & mason and francis.
sweet francis. you have already given us so many memories and we will think of you often. we are leaving you in the best hands, in the best garage on the planet. when the days turn cold here in brooklyn i will remember you and my heart will be warm again.
i leave this quote with everyone i had the pleasure of spending time with this summer and who now lives far away from me:
happy trails to you, until we meet again.
some trails are happy ones, others are blue.
it’s the way you ride the trail that counts,
here’s a happy one for you. (dale evens)
