the bus needs an update too…

while we were in oklahoma over christmas we got some great work done on the bus, including reupholstering the two front seats! we covered them in the original grey vinyl and they look great if i do say so myself! i was glad to have curtis and my dad to help with that. the dvd made it look so easy but it was for sure a two or three man job. the bus got totally stripped and we took it to the body people to have a new nose put on and a new floor. the rust on the floor was pretty bad and there was a large crack on her nose… she is going to get a major face lift! after that she will get her new paint, the original sea blue (a greyish blue) and when we see her again she will be totally different! i can’t wait. we have started designing the back of the bus and curtis has come up with some very cool and creative ideas. fun, fun, fun!

it is so crazy how happy this bus makes me.

she is just perfect for us.

i think she needs a name.

i have actually never ever named a car. but i think she might need one.

i obviously think of her as a girl…

any ideas?
